With the introduction of eSirius3G, three new applications have been added to the eSirius suite of IACUC and Research Facility Management applications:

RFID Animal Inventory utilizes the latest RFID technology for collecting animal census data making census taking much faster and more frequent census calculations feasible. Periodic animal census collection times are reduced by a factor of 10 when compared to bar-coded census taking. You save time and improve accuracy, and frequency of census taking can be increased so that your care-day calculations are always real-time.

Veterinary Care tracks the full animal health history while providing the complete healthcare workflow, including subjective and objective observations, assessment, treatment planning, and execution. Overall animal care is improved, while certain automated tasks, such as the ordering diagnostic laboratory tests, help reduce time and costs.

Colony Management automates the breeding facility and management of transgenic animal colonies for biomedical studies.
